Make a difference by nominating a deserving non-profit in your community to receive a new refrigeration system. Each nomination recognizes an organization that may be facing challenges, supports those in need or provides essential services to their community. Your nomination can help these vital groups continue their impactful work.
After reviewing all the nominations, we select deserving non-profit organizations to receive new refrigeration systems. These essential upgrades are often beyond their budget, yet crucial for their operations. We believe these organizations, which work tirelessly to support others, deserve reliable refrigeration to continue serving their communities effectively.
This spring, through our Cool to be Kind initiative, Heatcraft partners with local distributors and contractors to give back to deserving non-profits by installing much-needed refrigeration systems. Each system includes our advanced refrigeration technology, designed to enhance reliability and efficiency, allowing these charitable organizations to focus on making a difference.
Through the Cool to be Kind program, Heatcraft, Johnstone Supply, and A-Bear Refrigeration donated a new refrigeration system to Liberty's Kitchen. This New Orleans-based nonprofit empowers youth with culinary skills and career training. With improved refrigeration, Liberty’s Kitchen can store fresh ingredients more efficiently, enhancing both their training programs and daily operations, all while continuing to serve the community.
Giving Hope NOLA’s Food Pantry, established in 2013, benefited from a new refrigeration system donated by the Cool to be Kind program in collaboration with Johnstone Supply and All-Temp Refrigeration.
